Ms Nika Aleksejeva

Nika Aleksejeva is a digital researcher with the @DFRLab covering the information space in the Baltic states, Russia, and the wider region. She uses OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) tools and methods to monitor elections, military exercises, and the impact of technology on digital information environments.

Her formal education in communication science and political science combined with her practical knowledge of information technologies and data analysis skills, helps her provide deeper insights into key events in the digital communication spaces. Before joining the @DFRLab, Nika was part of a popular data visualization tool Infogram team. Nika also runs the international data literacy initiative School of Data in Latvia as a voluntary contribution.
